So we called in one random midweek night for a swift drink and loved everything and everyone there. So much so we went back today for food. The service was A+ huge well done to the new young lady serving! The food came quickly and for the prices just amazed at the portion size and more at the tatse, everything was fabulous. The pub was bustling and feels very homely even for strangers. We will come back for the sunday lunch but told we need to book and that to me means one thing another great meal Dietary restrictions: Amazing for gluten free eaters
All I can say is WOW! I was so overwhelmed to see a whole Gluten Free menu, alongside the normal menu. The food was so good, my husband and I really enjoyed our meal. I am going to give this place the shout out it deserves to all my Gluten free social media Buddies. Thank you to Mark Chef/Landlord and all the staff for such fabulous services. We will be back for Sunday lunch very soon, making sure I ask for their homemade Gluten free Yorkshire puddings, which they need notice for as made in advance. Dog friendly too. See you all soon. Another lovely oldy, worldly pub...like stepping back in time!! Didn't have food...only a drink...but the food we saw going to other people looked+smelled delicious! This place is off the beaten path but we'll worth visiting!! Plenty of dining areas and a beer garden out the back!! Dog friendly with actual meals for the 4 legged visitors available to purchase!!all the staff were very helpful and pleasant!!hoping to get back to try some of the meals!!comfy+cozy place!!
Twice now I've been here and wish I could come more often! The food is honestly delicious, fresh, homemade and excellent size portions. Great choice of desserts which you'll probably be too full to try but you need too find the room as they are fabulous! Service is excellent and the staff are really accommodating. Child friendly and a totally relaxed atmosphere for either casual event or a party. Absolutely recommend this gem Price per person: £20–30

3 would have been harsh and 4 is generous. Ideally 3.5 would have been fair. The food was ok. Some seems to have been bought in ready made and some made on premises. Great customer service. Tasty food and a good choice of drinks. You really have to try the Sunday roast delicious. Don't forget to book in advance.
