Each year, on New Years Day, my daughter and I get a Haggis, make Neeps and Tatties and a Hogmanay Pie then sit and watch the Military Tattoo, otherwise, I don’t get much occasion to visit. Each time, however, they’ve been friendly and accommodating, and the food is fantastic! One year I miscalculated on the timing and they closed for a week, I contacted via Facebook, and they were very helpful, even meeting me at the shop to let me buy the Haggis (not saying they can do this for everyone, but it just shows how amazing the owners are)...
I was initially very skeptical about trying the haggis and black pudding, but one of the lovely staff members explained that the recipe is over 100 years old. To my surprise, the haggis turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever tasted! The black pudding was also fantastic, and the square sausage was so good that I didn't even miss my usual pork sausage. As for the bacon, it was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place!
As a first-time visitor to Syd's Pies, I was absolutely blown away! The Scottish sausage was incredible, and the pies were fantastic too—full of chunks of meat rather than minced meat like many other places. I’ll definitely be spreading the word and becoming a regular customer. Thank you, Syd's Pies and British Food Shop!
I have been a loyal customer of Syds Pies for at least the past 10 years, and my family and I absolutely adore your products. My personal favorite is the Korma chunky steak curry pie; it is packed with meat. I highly recommend this fantastic establishment!

I visited your shop for the first time yesterday and even though it was close to closing time, the service and help I received in trying to find a gift for some scottish friends was amazing.Great job-I'll be back again.
