The food at this restaurant is exceptional. The ambiance is welcoming, and you can choose to dine on any of the three levels. The first floor has a charming window seat that overlooks the shops and the street. I think the second floor has a balcony as well. However, I did experience a lengthy wait of about an hour for my meal after ordering, despite the fact that there were only a few customers there. It's possible that my location on the third floor played a role in the delay. All in all, it's a wonderful place!
The frozen fries were poorly prepared, and the lahm bil ajeen was overly drenched in pomegranate molasses, which overshadowed all other flavors. Furthermore, the flatbread wasn't made fresh—an essential element—rather it was a store-bought pita with crumbled meat on top. Syrian cuisine has enormous potential, but this experience fell far short of expectations.
The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. Looking for something unique, we chose to visit and were pleasantly surprised by the charming balcony view on a beautiful day in Ellicott City. If you're in search of delicious cuisine and excellent service while wanting to try new things, this is definitely a place worth visiting!
The Turkish coffee and treats are outstanding! If you find yourself in Old Ellicott City, make sure to stop by and sample these homemade delights, along with a serving of their Turkish coffee. It's wonderfully herbal and perfect for warming up on a chilly day. I can't wait to explore more of the menu! Thank you for your warm hospitality!

If you're in the area, it's worth the effort to find parking. The hummus is not spicy (add your own at the table) and the olive oil is not overwhelming. The Grape leaves are served hot and are very flavorful. This is my new favorite place to eat in MD! They also have some Syrian-made rugs and table runners for sale.
Full experience was amazing, the ambiance was great as well. But the food and the service top quality. Our Server was so nice and accommodating. I will be going back. My new favorite spot. In the pictures I got the: Baklawa, Kenafa, and the Mixed Grilled Platter with Rice and Fatouch.
The food was excellent, served in generous portions, and the service was outstanding. There’s also live entertainment on the weekends, which added to the experience. My friends and I had a wonderful time. We dined in for dinner, and the price was around $20–30 per person.
The Syrian coffee is fantastic, and their hummus is the best I've ever tasted. Overall, the food was delicious and incredibly fresh. I didn't see my server often, but given that the restaurant has three levels and I was busy working on my laptop, it wasn't a big issue.

Down a street full of cafes this one stands out as exceptional. The food is authentic and delicious as well as having some of the best coffee and tea on the block. If you like strong black coffee I'd recommend the Turkish coffee.
