If you?re looking for an authentic Chinese cuisine, then Szechuan Place is what you?re looking for! A 100% must try restaurant in Northridge! We tried this place out of curiosity because it had so many good reviews and I?m certainly glad we did! The place was clean and well taken care of, the tables are nice and shiny, and the theme of the restaurant is pretty consistent with all its decorations. We took quite some time selecting a food to order because of the amount of food in their menu. There?s a lot to choose from and you can select which meat you want in your dish. We ordered the Egg Flower Soup and it?s been the best I?ve had through all Chinese restaurants we?ve been to. We chowed dow...

After reading the reviews on Yelp, we decided to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We were craving some spicy Chinese food and this place delivered! We ordered the Dan Dan Wontons, Spicy Diced Chicken, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Pork Ribs with Noodle Soup, and Vegetable Chow Mein. Each dish was mouth-numbingly spicy in the best way possible. The Spicy Diced Chicken was particularly outstanding, with red dried chilies, chili oil, and green chilies making it incredibly tasty. The Dan Dan Wontons were also delicious, with steamed pork Dimsum dipped in traditional Schezwan chili oil. The Pork Ribs with Noodles were good, but the spice level was a bit milder compared to the other dis...

Ordered delivery with a service. Food arrived fresh and still warm. Food was unfortunately underwhelming. The beef in the Mongolian beef dish used the cheep chewy type meet, with an abundance of onions, that I didn 't mind, but the spouse did very much. The Scallion pancake was mediocre at best, lacked flavor. Its dipping sauce was off and extra salty. Surprisingly so, the chicken fried rice lacked flavor. It had nearly as much flavor as plain white rice. The sauteed vegetables was only bok choy. It was good, crunchy, and flavorful. Probably the best thing I happened to order, but it shouldn 't be called sauteed vegetables. At all. I will not order from here again and will continue the stren...

My friends and I stopped by here after getting our suits measurements for my wedding. We got to the place right when they open so we were their first customer to dine in. I went with the Mongolian Beef, my friends got the orange chicken and one of their noodle dish. Our food came out pretty quick. I thought the Mongolian Beef had too much soy sauce and the portion wasn't that much. I got more onion than meat but I understand with the current situation we're in. My friend orange chicken was good and my other friend like his noodle soup. The plaza that this restaurant is in can get busy later in the day. Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful Service with young energetic staff. The food was superb. Appetizers, Cold dishes, Eight Hot Soups to pick from plus over a dozen Noodle Soups. A huge variety of traditional and house special Szechuan Entrees. Fantastic homemade Chili Sauce. Easy to park. I was unable to dine here since the shutdown, but truly missed this great restaurant. Their unbelievably great sense of taste and superb ingredients and now available again here in the West San Fernando Valley! Don?t miss trying the Szechuan Place on Reseda.

A few years later, prices have gone up, which is expected due to inflation, recession, and the impact of the pandemic. It's great to see that the Deli items are back on the menu, although not as plentiful as before. The Szechuan hot paprika is a must-try, and my favorite Deli items are the tripe, ears, and cheeks, which are delicious on their own or paired with rice.

Szechuan Place offers some of the best Chinese cuisine in the San Fernando Valley, and possibly in all of Los Angeles. The welcoming atmosphere and affordable prices have made it a top choice for me.

I stopped in for a random lunch break and wow! The food was really good, the passion fruit tea was refreshing and I have a lot left over for another meal, so good value as well! I’m Reserva una mesa ahora
