We had to come in for one last experience at the Clive location before they move downtown. Food and service was superb as usual and it was great bringing our friends with us who also love Table I had the lamb leg cannelloni which was really unique and delicious. I think it might be the first time I have had a pasta dish there and it did not disappoint. It was part of the chefs menu which was summery and perfect balance of summer. The watermelon gazpacho was so refreshing with the sweetness and salty ness from crispy prosciutto. The Peach Pan A cotta was amazing either goat cheese crumble too. We wanted to have one final meal at the Clive location before they relocate downtown. The food and service were excellent as always, and we enjoyed bringing our friends who also love Table 128. I tried the lamb leg cannelloni, which was unique and delicious. It was my first time having a pasta dish there and it exceeded my expectations. The chef's menu had a summery theme with perfect balance. The watermelon gazpacho was refreshing with a mix of sweetness and saltiness from crispy prosciutto. As tourists, we inadvertently wound up here the last night when Bistro closed its location in anticipation of a move to downtown Des Moines. No matter. This was no somber occasion. The house was packed with local regulars. From owner Lynne's warm hospitality when we arrived to the delicious, imaginative food (I ordered a la carte while Hubby chose the chef's tasting menu so we experienced a nice sampling of menu items) and finely crafted cocktails, we had an awesome experience. We can't wait to dine with you in your new home when we next visit Des Moines. If our first experience is any indicator of future success, we look forward to another enjoyable fine dining opportunity.

During our visit as tourists, we unexpectedly ended up at Bistro 128 on its last night at its current location before moving to downtown Des Moines. Despite the change, it was a lively atmosphere with many local regulars. Owner Lynne greeted us warmly and we enjoyed the delicious and creative food, with me ordering a la carte and my husband opting for the chef's tasting menu. The cocktails were also expertly crafted. Every single person is so attentive and connected to making the dining experience perfect.. The food is amazing the atmosphere perfect. .This is one of my favorite restaurants. I don’t live in Des Moines, but any chance I get to go there or pass through, Table is where I want to eat The Brussels salad is incredible

This restaurant NEVER disappoints! I will miss it SO MUCH during this short hiatus while they prepare to open in their new and exciting location!! The countdown starts as we wait, and I am SO excited!

incredibly friendly and welcome staff that was ready to answer all the questions. some selected vegan menu items, others that can be changed. the burger cannot be made vegan unless with a salad wrap.
