Always enjoy the experience when eating at Taco Bill Melton. The fact that nearly all their menu items are gluten free or have a gluten free option is great. The staff are knowledgeable about Coeliac disease and cross contamination which always makes you feel safe. The atmosphere when you walk in screams cheesy Mexicana which if you are looking for a themed night out is perfect. Even on busy nights service is quite prompt, though if you do attend on during peak times on a Friday or Saturday night you will have to wait a little bit longer for your food. It has been just over a week since we started 2016. I hope that you have had a great start to the year so far; I began the year by celebrating with some amazing friends at Taco Bill on Unit St in Melton on New Years Eve. Taco Bill is always a wonderful place to eat and the Melton location is absolutely amazing when it comes to gluten free food. They have a Coeliac Society certificate hanging up when you enter and at any location (not just Melton) if you show them your Coeliac Society card you can get 25% of the bill (maximum $20 and not including alcohol). Been here a fair few times and have never been disappointed. By far the best Taco Bills around. I went to the one in Templestowe and also Niddrie, both need to move up to melton's quality.......MELTON is the best taco bills aroundBest quality food, great tasting and very much not a generic fast food outlet. Margaritas though, you get a light buzz from one but nothing major. I am thinking the alcohol they use is of very cheap nature.... staff are fantastic, even on the busiest nights l find the staff to be excellent. This is the worst dining experience I have ever had. There’s absolutely no way someone with good taste could enjoy this food! Not a single person at my table was able to finish their meal. I've had plenty of Mexican food before, but this was just terrible. It felt like someone took a bunch of random ingredients, threw them on a plate, and called it a meal. The plate was actually hotter than the food on it! My suggestion to the owner is to visit a real Mexican restaurant in the city, taste their cuisine, and then compare it to what they serve here. The staff here is incredibly friendly and always ready to help when you're unsure about what to order. The atmosphere is wonderful, featuring authentic decorations from Mexico—I even asked about them! The portions are generous, and the desserts are absolutely delicious. It's true that many places have similar taco prices, but this one stands out because you can see that the staff genuinely enjoys their work. We’re regulars and usually go for the combination platter, fajitas, and whatever else catches our eye; it's always fantastic!
I had a wonderful dining experience with excellent service. The food was really delicious, but I did find the prices a bit on the high side. The menu clearly indicated dietary restrictions, which was helpful since I'm celiac and it made it easy to identify gluten-free options. Overall, I would rate my experience as follows: Food: 4/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
