I decided to try this place out due to the many well written and positive reviews online. Unfortunately it was not as “delicious” as people say, I’ve had chipotle burritos that have more flavor. We had ordered two steak burritos to go, we got one filled with rice and lettuce with some chicken, and another with beans and rice with some steak. I’ve received larger portions of meat from an angry manager at subway. To top it off they charged us for two Mexican cokes and 1 Jarrito we didn’t even order. In my opinion there are better options. On the good side I did have a meal served quickly with kind staff.
We had our wedding catered by Taco Nano, and it was absolutely amazing. We chose the taco cart option, where their staff prepared fresh tacos according to our guests' preferences, and it was a huge hit! Everyone raved about how delicious the food was throughout the entire weekend, and they were especially impressed that the Taco Nano team made fresh tortillas right on the spot. The staff at the taco cart were incredibly friendly, helpful, patient, and kind. Thank you, Taco Nano team, for your delicious food and for offering such creative catering options. We cannot recommend you highly enough!
It used to be fantastic. We've been loyal customers since Freddie first opened the restaurant. Now, I would find it hard to return. Everything feels different, and unfortunately, not for the better. The guacamole was once outstanding; now it's just average at best. The chips that were warm and crispy now taste like they came straight out of a bag. The tacos, which used to be fresh and generous, are now smaller and lack flavor. Please, Taco Nano, go back to your original style or you may soon find yourself out of business. People are starting to take notice.
The food is average. Nice decor. We ordered burrito, tacos, elote, strawberry lemonade . Nothing stood out. Smaller portions. I ordered the burrito with all the meats. Small. The bill was over 50.00 $20 of that was a modelo and burrito. I’m in Chicago area , many exceptional Mexican food places. If your paying $14 for a burrito, it should be Mucho Grande. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! I ordered the steak burrito, which includes steak, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, rice, cheese, and beans. I always get this when I visit, and it's consistently delicious. They fill the burrito generously and usually crisp up the outside, but they forgot to do that this time. I absolutely love this place!
Taco Nano is consistently excellent! It’s my go-to taco spot on the North Shore. I've been coming here since they first opened. My favorite dish is the crispy camarones tacos; they're full of flavor, and all the ingredients complement each other perfectly. While they're not the cheapest tacos around, they're worth every penny!
I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant! They offer delicious vegetarian options like tacos and burritos that are full of flavor. The service was impeccable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, contributing to a wonderful overall vibe. I highly recommend it!
