I visited Taco Time Renton last Friday. I walked in a customer had placed his order. He wanted to use the restroom. Finally, a female team member let him in. She walked by me without a word as I looked at the kiosk. I would have asked my question; however, she did not even make eye contact. I did have a chance to ask or say anything. Then a male team member zoomed by me in the same matter.Really? Only one other customer besides me. Before the pandemic, I spent my hard earned money at Taco Time for more than 20 years on a regular basis. No longer. I value who I am and where I spend my money.Don't use staffing as the issue. The staff is definitely friendly, but they are busy making sure their drive-through customers are happy. As dine-in customer, they do their best to be attentive to the front as much as they can (which is understandable and definitely forgivable, not a strike against them). The super nice touches in this restaurant are the fireplace and sink for customers to wash their hands. Ingenious! The food has been consistent since I was a small kid. As an adult, the menu has grown with me, and it's great it stays the same. The crisp taco is still tangy and crunchy as I recall. Their taco salad aims to please. I typically use the drive-thru at Taco Time, and the service is usually excellent, with my orders being accurate. However, during my last few visits, my orders have been wrong. Today, I ordered a bowl of chicken chili and a medium Coke, but I received a cup of chili and a Diet Coke, which I had to throw away. I love Taco Time and it's my usual choice when I need a quick meal. But now, I might have to reconsider my visits there.

The girl who was working the drive through tonight deserves a raise, I didn’t catch her name but she has a tattoo of Washington state on her wrist. She is so friendly and personable. A drunk homeless man was in the drive through asking for money, she kept it calm and kept the customers comfortable while waiting for the cops. The food here is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is excellent as well. We appreciate that it's located in our neighborhood, and it has never disappointed us. Whether we're dropping by for a quick snack or enjoying a sit-down meal, we always have a pleasant experience.

Had a fried bean burrito and a hard shell beef taco. Love those burritos! Excellent salsas too. On the way to getting my oil changed, but had to pull over in the parking lot and devour them! Dang they are good! Parking: There is plenty of parking in the Safeway parking lot.

I ordered a beef soft taco as usual and this time it came with almost NO MEAT! The food here has shrunk drastically and the price keeps going up. I might have to give up Taco Time for good now!!!!!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was terrible! Some dishes were overcooked to the point of being burnt, while others were served too cold. There was no cashier; everything was done through a computer.

It JUST gets 5 stars. It would be more deserving of this if prices were lower.
