Taco's Fresh Sport Cantina

I happened to stop by this place since I was in the area and wanted a quick bite. I did not have much expectations because there wasn 't much to show for it. Their signage was not noticable and the only thing that caught my eye were paper cutout words taped on on the windows, e.g. tacos and sushi and pho. Keep in mind, it was around 6pm during the winter, so it was already dark out. Stepped inside and was greeted right away. Was offered a table but I declined. I was in a time crunch so I ordered for take out. Looked at the menu and was pretty surprised at the variations of tacos offered, besides the normal sushi items. Saw the word taco and stopped in for a couple. Quickly realized that I a sports bar serving sushi and tacos isn't going to be all that satisfying. And, I was right! I'd rather order cat food quality tacos from Taco Hell or Taco John's before ever going back to Taco Fresh. From what I could tell by the menu and guests order the sushi rolls, I highly doubt that's worth order either...

This place was great when it first opened but the sushi fusion thing doesn't work for me. I'm sad to see the changes as the original place was great.

Not bad for $5 pho. Coming next time to try tacos!
