If you're in search of a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, Lupe's is the place to go! The food is consistently fresh and delicious. As for kid-friendliness, my children adore the asado tacos (steak). I usually request them without the veggies and choose avocado instead—just plain avocado, not guacamole. These are the type of tacos I really miss since moving away from California! The authentic asada street tacos are absolutely fantastic.
The whole tilapia was the best I've ever tasted anywhere. Absolutely fantastic! This place is a hidden gem in south-central Minnesota.
I had the carnitas and tripas tacos, which were excellent! However, I wasn't a fan of the pastor torta. The service was friendly.
