Taggarts Ice Cream Parlor

We have been coming back here for 40 years. This neighborhood restaurant and ice cream parlor hasn't changed much. Miss the player piano though..... the ice cream flavors list is long and the food menu covers anything you might be hungry for. Try the signature ice cream called The Bittner, it has plenty of pecans, but I recomend an extra order because they are yummy by themselves.

A Canton institution! Great coneys, soups, burgers, olive nut sandwiches, Tuna melts, among other things. Best vanilla ice cream ever, we go there just for their Vanilla ice cream, and that's not my go to ice cream flavor normally. We love their Buckeye Sundae and Chocolate Covered Cherry Sundae, worth a trip just for these. The kids love the Unicorn Sundae.

A Great place, huge servings, go there hungry instead of after a meal for dessert. A canton landmark that everyone who likes ice cream will enjoy . Butter pecan with whole pecans I have never had before I went here. Delicious..Delicious

Great ice-cream /diner. The baskets of fries and onion rings are more than you imagine for $4.00. Sandwiches are great. Of course you have to get some kind of ice-cream. It all looks great and all homemade.

Wow! The ice cream selections are amazing. The portions are very generous. Taste great!
