Although we have not dined in the restaurant, we frequently order takeout from here every week. The food consistently arrives promptly, within an hour, and is always piping hot. The quality of the food is excellent, tasty, and the portion sizes are generous. We have tried many Indian restaurants in the area, and this one is definitely the best. We highly recommend the chicken tikka bhuna for those who prefer milder spice levels - it is super tasty with plenty of chunky chicken. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else now.
We are residents of Southport, and this is our favourite restaurant. The staff are friendly and the menu long, varied and delicious. There are plenty of vegetarian options; although we are not veggies, we enjoy these as an occasional, tasty alternative to meat dishes. Family and friends we have taken there, for dinner or celebrations, have always wanted to return soon!
We live in Thornton and always make the trip to Taj Mahal. The food is outstanding, the staff are fantastic and very friendly. I even drive down for a takeaway because it's worth the hour drive. I highly recommend this place to friends and family. - Jane
The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly. The food is both delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend paying a visit. We stumbled upon this place by accident and are very happy that we did.

Excellent food as usual,But the let down was the peshwari naan had no taste very average which is very unusual. We had this as a takeaway

Poppadoms and tray was lovely, garlic naan was yummy but main average. There was not a lot of taste and both meals were very rich.
