While I am a lover of all things spicy, I decided to go with something mild. With my guests going for the typical butter chicken, I chose the Prawn Dakshen. SA Prawns sautéed in tomatoes, coriander, onion and a coconut cream. Boy oh boy, I cannot fault this dish apart from me wanting more! The texture of the sauce was fantastic, if it were socially acceptable to lick the plate clean, I would've done so! Highly recommend.
Nice character building and atmosphere. Been coming here since i was a teenager. Never disappointed. I Don't agree with some reviews about food not being authentic. i have tried almost every indian restaurant and have travelled to india, and no one came close to authenticity as taj tandoor. Recommended to anyone looking to try the best indian in adelaide.
Good food, but the food is not Indian, its with too much cream and other stuff which makes it ozefied. Many of my Aussie friends ask me where can I get authentic Indian food and its hard for me to point some these days. Chinese restaurant s maintain there authenticity, why not Indian restaurant.
Nothing brilliant and nothing very bad either average Indian restaurant. Good for fast meal if you are in a hurry. There are other better Indian restaurants not far from here for better food Reserva una mesa ahora
Beautiful flavours and authentic taste. Being an indian and a foodie i can vouch for this place. The restaurant is in a heritage listed Victorian building, which adds to the ambiance.

"Had dinner here twice with friends, would not come again. Food was ok, but real terrible service. Not a single smile from any of Waitresses, served us with bad attitude the whole night. Also the food took ages to come, FYI we were their first group of customers for that evening, so don't understand what was the hold up."
