As a Thai food connoisseur, I can vouch for this place. What an amazing Thai fusion selection. Everything tastes fresh, different, and of course Delicious. Don't let the prices deter you, they are certainly worth it. I went there with a friend and enjoyed the ribs with some jasmine rice, and it was so delicious. I've never had ribs like that before. Yes, of course, the atmosphere is hip and progressive, young, smart and beautiful people everywhere, tastefully decorated, professional staff, offering a very unique dining experience right there in the heart of corktown.

This place is really unique. It has chain link fence around the outside, and appears to be made out of shipping containers. We had great craft cocktails. The menu is very unique, so be ready to try something new. Great location in Corktown. You usually need a reservation, as the space is small. The staff was very accommodating and fun! The dish I liked was naem khao tod (pork and crispy rice).

First time visiting, visited during happy hour. Sat in the bar area. Happy hour drinks for delicious. The happy hour hamburger was phenomenal, very unique. Will most certainly return to explore this menu further. Service at first was a little confusing and disorganized, but ended up being pretty good.

takoi is not like any run of the mill american thai restaurant (and despair of 5 stars.) the atmosphere is cool and intimate. you eat is inventive and the aromen are wonderfully complex. excellent drinks too. look at the menu and they will see themselves, it is excellent, absolutely worth a visit. My absolute favorite restaurant in Detroit. Cool ambiance, the dining space reminds me of sewers in the original ninja turtles movies lol. The eggs rolls, Khao soi and spare ribs are some of my favorites. They have a few great drinks as well. Service is always on point.

Wow. Intense, but totally balanced flavors. I wish I had a place like this in Denver. Everything was fantastic. The vegetarian dishes were even yummier than the meat. Great cocktails too. Great prices!

One of the all time favorite place in the D. Great fusion Thai restaurant. Been here few times and it’s amazing how they maintain the standard. Service is exceptional as always. Highly recommended

The food is honestly strange. Too sweet and kinda funky. I dunno... maybe make the food less sweet. My chicken sandwich tasted insanely weird and had a rubbery texture from over-brining. Reserva una mesa ahora

Loved the food. Creative and excellent! Service was exceptional and engaging. I am going there tomorrow night so will be two times in one week that says it all.!!
