We ordered via Postmates; the food came in cute boxes and was delivered in about an hour. Spicy Tuna Dip $13.95): They give 3 white rice cracker squares which wasn't that good. I would rather have the regular crispy rice. The spicy tuna also tasted weird. Hard pass. Kakuni Bento Box $19.95): This was a rip off. They gave only one piece of pork belly with two large pieces of steamed potatoes. The pork belly was okay not very flavorful also a bit dry. Yakiniku Beef Bento Box $19.95): The beef was way better than the kakuni but the portion was small. Bento Box Sides: The two shredded side dishes were not edible to us. The potato salad was good. The green beans do not go with the salad.

Wow! I visited this restaurant after seeing the great reviews on Yelp, and it did not disappoint. My favorites? It’s a Japanese restaurant. My partner ordered the chicken curry, which was delicious—perfectly seasoned and had a rich curry flavor. I had the salmon bento box, and I was truly impressed by the presentation of the various dishes. The salmon, which was the star of the meal, was absolutely fantastic. I really wish this place was closer to where we live!

My first bento box delivery was fantastic. I tried the sweet potato croquette bento, which was packed with delicious vegetables and sides—healthy and so satisfying! I also ordered the marinated tofu, and it was incredibly flavorful. The variety of tastes was impressive, and the portion size was just right. It made for a wonderful lunch!

It seems we visited at an unfortunate time. Our meal was messy; the California hand roll contained mostly crab meat with no sweetness, and the soup consisted solely of noodles and broth. The jellyfish was intriguing, but it appeared to be old. I would recommend choosing a different restaurant. The service, while slow, was very friendly! Reserva una mesa ahora

Wow! We had no idea what to expect, but we were truly impressed by the amazing flavors of the torched mackerel, eggplant, and gobo appetizers. I highly recommend the pork belly as the main course and the panna cotta for dessert. The service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back!

This is a truly authentic Japanese izakaya offering traditional cuisine. The owner is very friendly, and the staff is equally welcoming. The food is delicious, and there's an excellent selection of beer and other beverages. The menu does change periodically, but some items remain constant. The overall atmosphere is great!

Such a great little gem in Santa Monica. I came here for dinner with friends one night and later for a private event and loved it both times. It's an Izakaya with great food, a good selection of sake's and a friendly staff in a nice, quaint environment. Perfect for after work meet ups and small intimate parties.

Gohan is my favorite restaurant. The toban sukiyaki is a bit pricey considering the portion size.
