I believe three stars is quite generous, as the food was at best mediocre. We shared several appetizers: wings, calamari, and bang bang shrimp. All were overcooked and lacked flavor, even with the accompanying sauces. Among them, the wings were probably the best, but that's not saying much. At that point, I started to regret my choice of the steak frites for my main dish. I felt a bit hopeful when the waitress asked how I wanted my steak cooked, as I always order it rare. There are so many good restaurants in Tampa and a number of them very close to the hotel so I would not be able to recommend this restaurant. Food is mediocre and the service is friendly. I really like the hotel and I have been staying here for about 6+ yrs. During that time the restaurant has never changed. The name is very misleading. There is no blue here. The restaurant is decorated in golds and browns, it's very dated It could definitely use an update. I had the gluten free vegetable pizza. I was staying at the doubletree, company paid for it). Bad service at the bar sent me here. Marriott is my favorite hotel chain. Always has been. First class rooms , service , and an unrestrained gourmet chefs menu. When I walked out of the doubletree and looked for a mcdonalds. yeah the service was that bad) and saw the Marriott. SCORE! Salmon on jasmine rice. Crab cakes Cold beer. and absolutely positively the most important part. I WAS SMILED AT AND ACKNOWLEDGED when I walked into the restaurant bar. Much more then I expected. Ordered an Angus Beef Burger accompanied by fries. Started with Hot English Tea. They keep the AC at a very uncomfortable Freeze you to the bone. Not good for Sales of Bar Drinks.(Burrr . Unless they provide a complimentary Jacket. The Tea is Served in an Elegant Tea Pot. Very nice. Burger was Cooked medium well. We had the buffet breakfast on a Sunday morning. We dined very early, and service was a bit slow but not bad. Food: The potatoes on the buffet looked great, but they were cold and tasted like they were at least one day old. Some of the fresh fruits were good, some were not so good. We ordered custom omelettes, and both were well-prepared as ordered. Overall cleanliness: above average
Not enough staff for now. Sat down at 7:30pm, ordered at 8:05, dinner was brought out at about 8:45pm. Food was mediocre at best and overpriced, even by hotel standards. Normally, I'm a fan of Marriott restaurants, but save yourself some time if staying here. Either order Uber Eats or go somewhere else in the area. You'll still save yourself time and have a better meal.
We ate here because of convenience only since we were staying at the hotel. The food is extremely overpriced and low quality. The service was poor, but the bartender was doing his best as he was the only one to serve everyone. I'd advise that you pass on going to Blue Bistro and choose any of the other dozen restaurants within a 2 min drive from the hotel.
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing breakfast at Blue Bistro. Angelica provided friendly and attentive service, demonstrating professionalism while proactively meeting the needs of our kids. I'm confident we will be back during our stay at the Marriott Tampa Westshore.

I'm quite disappointed after a long day of travel. I ordered the Thai Shrimp Bowl for $41, and I received just 4 shrimp, some white rice, and a few peppers drizzled with soy sauce. Honestly, this meal seems like it should cost at most $7. It felt like overpriced dog food.
Great service!!!! Loved the atmosphere too! Will Visit again on my next work trip down there!
