Extensive menu, food was fabulous, and the place was buzzing, completely full on a Friday night. The only slight negative was that it was a bit hard to get service from time to time as they were so busy. The chicken tikka was perfect, as were the samosas. For main we opted for three different curries, a fish, a beef and a paneer and they were all tasty, fresh and good quality.Lovely night and looking forward to going back.
Went here as a group and had a table upstairs. We ordered the $42.50 banquet and the food was quite good. The entrees were served on individual plates and the mains were served to share. The service was good and the waiters kept checking if we wanted more food.The food and service is as good as it was the last time we went here many years ago.Overall a very pleasant dinner, we will go back.
Extensive menu featuring a number of tandoor specialty dishes as well as a full range of vegetarian options all with a variety of heat ratings. As usual we ordered too much food but the choices make it difficult to restrict yourself! Great service is a feature of this restaraunt along with crisp white table cloths. The food is delicious and beautifully presented.
Just got take away from this place tonight. Best Malai Kofta I'm yet to have. I was so enjoying my meal that I wanted to call up the place and tell them but I thought they'd be busy on a Saturday night so I have written this review. I believe was once voted best Indian in Victoria and no wonder, should still be. Fantastic service, good wine list and food was quick and all meals were spot on, wait staff knowledge was good. One to go back to for sure.
An old time favourite of mine, the Tandoor Den always delivers yummy food and a lovely atmosphere. Best to book, especially on a weekend. Prices aren't the cheapest but they allow BYO.
This place has been here for years, and is well loved and used by the local Camberwellians. Great value, good food, quick and efficient service. Always a joy to eat here or takeaway
