This was my first ever experience at Tangawizi which has been established for 18 years. I must say that the overall experience was AMAZING. I went along with my friend who loves his non-vegetarian dishes and I am a vegetarian. So he ordered the lamb chops and king prawns for his starters, whereas I went for the vegetarian platter along with passion fruit mojito. The starters quantity was quite generous and we thought that we may not be able to finish them but surprisingly we polished everything off, as they were exceptionally delicious. Went here last eve for my partners birthday after a great experience years ago for my birthday. The place hasn’t dropped one but in standards. My favourite Indian in London excellent quality food, actual spice, tender meat and the service is beyond excellent. The owner is on site and watched over everything making sure to take time out to say hello to customers and ensure they are happy with what they’re getting. The staff have been there for years (the elderly Indian gent I think named Mustafa) is just a legend he doesn’t miss a thing and had great suggestions. My girlfriend and I recently had dinner at Tangawizi and it had been a long time since I had Indian food, so I was excited to try it again. My expectations were exceeded as the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the meal. The classic poppadums and dips were expertly done, with a delicious variety of flavorful dips. The service was attentive and efficient, with a warm and kind atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The flavors of the food were truly exceptional, and I know that next time I am craving Indian cuisine, I won't need to look anywhere else.
Delicious dinner. One of my best indian restaurant so far. I had already had similar meals in other restaurants but this one brings them to another level, while keeping its simplicity. Chicken was cooked perfectly : tender and spicy. The lassi was thick and fruity. All the chutneys and sauces served with the papadums were delicious. And I never ate spinachs like this.

Just over Richmond Bridge, so Richmond rather than Twickenham really. Had a lovely meal here with friends. The food was excellent and service brilliant. I have coeliac disease and they took great care, totally understood the cross contamination risk and explained what I could eat (lots! . Highly recommend…. including for any coeliacs!
Come here all the time or sometimes get takeaway. Food is always delicious and never disappoints. My favourite Indian around by far! Love the free poppadoms with the takeaway. Went for a trip recently for our anniversary and they surprised us with a card and a little gift. Such a nice touch.
We have been here several times and loved this place always. Haven't found a better one in the city or somewhere. Yet, the really amazing thing was when I way in India now for several days, being too good restaurants there but none exited me as the Tangawizi always does!
The food at this restaurant is always delicious, and the service is top-notch. We have been coming to this lovely establishment for years, and they consistently provide excellent flavors and service. My favorite dish is the lamb chops.

This place is fantastic. It may be a bit pricier, but it's definitely worth it. It's my wife's preferred Indian restaurant. Highly recommended!
