Tank - Reserva de mesa

Firstly this is a review of Guilt Trip, not Tank which I had been to several times before and had no problems with. I hope Guilt Trip up their game soon or this place won’t last long! We were greeted by some delicious looking donuts, and an electronic menu featuring different toasties. My partner chose the goats cheese toastie only to be told they couldn’t do that as they’d run out of the necessary ingredients. This was closely followed up by a following statement saying that, actually they couldn’t do any toasties at all, but a reason for this wasn’t given. This was lunch time so not ideal! Our evening started well. This is a nice industrial style pub, showcasing Gloucester Brewery 's beers. When we went to order food, we were warned that they 'd just got some new pizza bases, and they might be a bit hard. However the pizzas were completely inedible. We got a refund. But the fact that that food was even put in front of us was totally unacceptable. I understand that people might think I 'm exaggerating, but I 'm really not. There was no way that these could be eaten. The bases were black. I totally recommend Tank for drinks, but don 't even think about eating here.

Unfortunately no longer Tank which was a bit of a disappointment as Tank has many happy memories for us. It's now a coffee and doughnut place that doesn't serve alcohol until after 5. I wish them well with their business. Lovely people, just need to iron out some teething problems that are inevitable with a new venture. I hope Gloucester is kind to you.

Hmm. It's recent take over/merger/joint venture doesn't seem to have been a hit with the evening crowd when I was there on a Friday evening. More coffee orientated as you would expect from the new front of house but Glos Brewery beers are on tap Reserva una mesa ahora

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed a few pints of the local ale. The bar staff were friendly. Will be back to try more ales in the future. Didn't have any food so can't comment on it.

This doesn't look much from the outside but it's an excellent pub. The staff are great and the beer from the Gloucester Brewery just over the canal is fantastic. If in Gloucester this is one of the best pubs you'll find

I am really enjoying the new vegan pizza with vegan cheese at this restaurant! It could use a few more toppings though. They also have a nice selection of vegan beer. The prices are a bit high.

Nice welcome and some nice beers. Didn’t have food but it looked beautiful especially the burgers. I had a lovely beer called cascade and vanilla porter. Quirky decor as well Reserva una mesa ahora

Tank has closed down and been replaced with Guilt Trip coffee shop

Great spot for dinner if you're craving pizza or a burger.
