No-one came outside for 15 minutes but the place was empty bar two tables and a few rowdy women sitting at a bar table. I went inside to ask for the brunch menu but told only served until 11:30?! Ordered food and drinks. It was ok but expected vine tomatoes to be roasted and not cherry tomatoes cut in two and warmed. The avocado was not seasoned and bland. Sourdough was not toasted enough so was soggy. Egg was missing. Pancakes had no flavour and small but blueberry sauce was good. Coffee very good. Had to g...
My friend and I always come to this restaurant after class or on the weekends for a meal! It is the best place to eat in Southport, by far. Sometimes I come in just to get a green tea and do some work on my laptop. I'm slowly trying everything on the menu, but the Very Berry Spritz is always a favorite. The service is always amazing, the staff are lovely and welcoming, and there are no faults at all. We come to Tapper's regularly now and it has become our go-to place when we are in town. Thank you to the entire Tapper's team for always making our visits the best they can be.
we drove past tappers the other day, thought it looked nice and it wasn't disappointed! it has a very relaxing atmosphere, large portions and is very affordable. we had a nice server and the food and drinks came out very quickly. it was not too loud, so it is a great place for a delicious healthy lunch and a chat with family or friends. we come back here! they sit outside when they can, it's a real tasty when the sun seems.
Lovely cafe bar with inside outside seating. Food was delicious, and mostly homemade. even the bagels and jam! We had goats cheese salad, club bagel, dirty fries cream scones. So good ! Coffee is also excellent, including decaf oatmilk options. Nice to be able to have a beer/wine/spirit too, especially outside in the sunshine Friendly staff, super clean environment. Food was absolutely delicious, as always, can't beat a homemade bagel! Everything is always to such a high standard and the service is really warm and attentive from all the lovely staff. My go-to when I'm in town.
Best brunch ever, all absolutely delicious and a really good pot of tea to go with it. The cafe is beautiful inside and scrupulously clean. And the staff are really lovely too.
The food and service were both exceptional, rating 10/10. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Southport.
nice eating that it is something different / especially in comparison to a typical cafe type place. the personal was friendly and pleasant throughout.

It's lovely in here, the staff were more than accomodating considering we were there 10 minutes before opening on Sunday, hankering for a coffee and a
had only the NY bag and it was reverential. I wanted to take my clothes off. would eat here again in any case, dressed no care.
