... as I was expecting more class from a restaurant formerly recommended by Michelin.The dishes had spots. The cutlery was not matching and dirty and had to be returned. The tablecloth had seen better days as well.The wine menu is quite good, but when ordering a 135,- Euro bottle one expects proper glasses i.e. clean and without damages. The breadbasket contained cut bread-rolls from the breakfast restaurant from the hotel which were left over as it seemed. Not impressive...The starter was up to expectations and tasting fantastic. walther's hof-level restaurant, which stands out for the care and quality of its dishes. we took a great fish soup with saffron sauce: the combination of flavors enhances the palate. excellent sogliola on a bed of soft mashed potatoes. delicious also the tuna garnished with tomatoes and potatoes and a delicious sauce. caring and courteous services. high price, but adapted to the island standard. A great dinner.
we spent in the restaurant a wonderful evening. the fantastic appetizer followed a very delikates main dish. another high point was dessert. we know several star restaurants on sylt and in hamburg. the tappe can keep with everyone. the prices for wine and menu are therefore very appropriate. we like to come back.Even the service was extremely attentive and friendly.

so I was there at the 2013/14 silvester. the party was the bang, and also the food was great. you must love this restaurant -- best view of sylt, nice staff that has been there for years. clear, silvester is big day -- but was mastered great, we also in the previous years. it is difficult to stalk.
since we arrived at the hotel quite late and were received very kindly here, we immediately decided to eat here in the associated tappes. eating was excellent, very beautifully dressed and also qualitatiw very good.
.About the island. with beautiful weather outside, and then it is grandiose. especially when it is windless. a little expensive, but very good kitchen. clear recommendation from us.
the restaurant is very narrow. the eat quite high price. not very recommended overall in the price performance ratio.

the crema catalan was heavenly - says my wife:-). but also the wine card and the food were great
