While on a family vacation, we stumbled upon this fantastic Mexican restaurant in Kaslo and we were thrilled that we did. We visited on a Saturday and were impressed by the outstanding cocktails and delicious food, which we found to be the best we've had outside of Mexico. The experience was so enjoyable that we returned again on Sunday. The salsa was amazing, the corn tortillas were soft and tasty, and their homemade hot sauce was fantastic. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine and is worth the trip if you are in the area. The best Mexican food I’ve ever had! We had the guacamole which was limey and fabulous. We then had the seven piece tasting platter. Every bite was a mouthful of deliciousness. Finally the desert was a chocolate crepe brûlée made with dark organic chocolate cream...custard. It has a slight cinnamon heat. We had classic margaritas which were perfect. Pinch yourself it’s hard to believe your in Kaslo and not a large cosmopolitan city the food, decor and service is that good.

Amazingly good food, great service and atmosphere. We have been to Kaslo several times and this trip we finally managed to eat at the Mexican place Food surpassed all of the rave reviews we've heard! Maddy was our server and she too was outstanding ..this business is lucky to have her! This little gem is only open Thursday through Sunday so plan accordingly because you don't want to miss it!

This gem of a restaurant is beautifully decorated, has the most friendly staff and best tacos around! It’s important to note that these a tacos are more in the « traditional » style meaning they’re a bit smaller. We loved our meal here, best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten dare I say it, better than anything we’ve had in Mexico. I am still dreaming of the tres leches cake, maybe our best ever dessert! We did not make a reservation which meant...we had to sit outside and it was a bit chilly so be sure to call ahead!

Excellent everything. Service was top notch, friendly and fast. AC was comfortable and they have a patio as well. Tacos was *mwah* delicious! Ask for their specialty drink of the day and hope they have horchata. Highly recommend this place!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic - it's funky, cozy, and the staff are so friendly. You definitely have to try the cheese fondue, it's a must-have. It has a proper Mexican name on the menu.

As others have said...this is authentic Mexican cuisine. We spend a lot of time in Mexico, living off the tourist routes. This place makes me think of those times.

Well run, great food and drinks. However, closed for the time being and may not reopen. Servings were small tacos for Drinks were expensive.
