They were open for dine-in, which was a pleasant surprise. When I arrived, I was impressed by the decor. If it weren't for COVID-19, I would have definitely organized a dinner date with friends here. Although the restaurant is small, it has a very friendly and authentic Mexican atmosphere. A big plus for me was that there was no rice in the burrito. However, the tacos were not as good as I had hoped. They need more meat in them, even though I understand that meat can be expensive. I could count the amount of meat in the tacos without even touching them. Despite this, the food was still good and I would definitely return for more.
Best Mexican food I've had since I moved to Michigan. Tasted authentic and fresh. Will absolutely be back to try other things. It was super busy and that's always a good sign in my opinion. Loved that it isn't a chain restaurant. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious dinner. My son and I were really impressed.
Small place but very friendly, real Mexican atmosphere, no rice in the burrito ' big plus ' for me,,,, now not so good tacos need more meat in them I kno meat is expensive] but they really do need more meat in them if I can count them without touching the taco. Still good though, I 'll go back for more.

I love Chilaquiles and they do good. You can also get a healthier meal here, such as Tacos mexican, Ceviche and custom Fajitas. The Moido Carne enchiladas are delish! Your desserts are amazing, Churros, Flan, Rumkuchen! Yum.
Taqueria San Jose is not only consistently good, but also very affordable and they have great authentic food. It's such a cool little place from their hand carved tables and chairs to the kindness of the staff.
1st off might want to call before going, hours are different because of Covid. Good food. Love the decor. Lots of menu choices.
