The customer service at this restaurant has always been terrible, but the food is amazing. If it weren't for the delicious food, I would never return, even to their last location. The female employees at the counter are always very rude and standoffish, and this has been the case for years. They are never friendly towards female customers. During my last visit, I placed a phone order and the employee was very dry and rude. When I went to pick up my order, I greeted her but she said nothing in return. After reading previous reviews, my friend and I decided to call ahead to place our order at the restaurant. The first person we spoke to seemed unsure about the vegan options and had to consult someone else. When we called back to place our order, the second person we spoke to was quite abrupt and insistent when we asked for clarification or to repeat our order to ensure accuracy. When we arrived 25 minutes later, our order was not yet ready and we had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes. I have been dining at this restaurant for over ten years, despite having to drive 50 minutes to get there. On my recent visit, I ordered three curry chicken platters and a side of jerk chicken. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste as good as it used to - I can't quite pinpoint what's different, but something has changed. The service was decent, and I opted for takeout for lunch. You used to have good food but these days you add a lot of spices and unneccesary stuff to food that changes taste to a simple food like vegetable platter. You used to have white bananas now you serve people some funny red bananas with something called damplings. Have wasted my money twice driving all the way from owings mills. NEVER AGAIN.... The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly. The prices of the dishes are very affordable. I highly recommend trying the veggie platter with rice and beans, plantains, and cabbage. The veggie patties are also delicious. They offer a wide variety of vegan options such as ribs, salmon, and more that can be made to order.

very warm and friendly staff. also very efficient! this is my first meal here and I enjoyed it enormous, the dessert was also delicious. lunch costs about $10. Since the vegan items take 20 minutes to prepare, they ask that orders are called before the time. it doesn't matter if they wait for their order.
