Visited this restaurant recently for a meal with friends. First we ordered drinks and as none of us drink we ordered 2 diet cokes and 1 ordinary coke. The waitress seemed to not know what we meant by a full fat coke /ordinary coke but returned with 2 diet cokes in large glasses and what we thought was a ordinary coke in a smaller glass. My friend was a bit confused by this and asked for more coke to be added. Food was OK but not amazing, staff very off and grumpy. When the bill came service charge was almost £10 and a vodka was on the bill. The waitress said we ordered a vodka which we certainly did not as my friend never drinks. Friday went to the pub next to the taste of China while in the pub I fancy Chinese so I phoned taste of China up and ordered my food then picked it up and went back to the pub waiting for my taxi when I got back to the pub I realised they had no prawn crackers so I went back to the Chinese to ask him where my prawn crackers are and they said you never ordered them well I spent £45 and they wanted an extra £2.60 for the prawn crackers in the end they gave them to me but wasn’t happy about it when I got home me and my girlfriend tucked in and it wasn’t very nice but I ate it as it cost me £45 next morning I was sicking and could not get off the toilet my girlfriend the same and I’ve been like...

Ordered from this restaurant this evening bit into a mouthful of what I thought was my VEGETARIAN Aubergine dish it turned out to be a RANCID piece of MEAT!I called them was at 1st accused of lying,then demanded to drive the food back there to “prove it.” Eventually the delivery driver came to collect the regurgitated piece of meat returned it to the restaurant. Instead of being called by them as promised, I had to follow it up. The same man that called me a liar then went on to raise his voice shout down the phone at me (he confirmed that it was a piece of chicken) but was only willing to refund for the aubergine dish. The food was excellent and so was the service. My companions and I chose to indulge in an early New Year's Eve celebration away from the hustle and bustle of crowds. The restaurant was well laid out with ample spacing. Our only complaint was the constant stream of people waiting to collect or order takeout, as the line ran through the center of the restaurant, making it somewhat uncomfortable. I felt uneasy conversing with my husband, as I worried we might be overheard. Many in the line were not wearing masks and seemed to be looming over us. Decided to go for a family meal, restaurant was empty apart from one other family who came later. The man serving was constantly hovering over table asking if we had finished when it was clear to see we hadn’t , felt extremely rushed from start to finish. Food was as dry as anything, chicken balls were so bad I had to dip in sauce just to eat it.. beef was like literally RUBBER! No friendlyness in general atmosphere and extremely over priced.. £7.50 for a glass of white wine. Won’t be returning to this place EVER!

After being disappointed by our local Chinese restaurant two times in a row, we decided to try a new place. Our friends suggested Taste of China so we tried the Gourmet Set Dinner for the first time. The staff happily accommodated our preference for chicken instead of lamb, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would have given it 5 stars if not for the outdated decor that needs updating.

After reading the reviews, I was surprised by the comments as we just had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the place was impeccably clean. The food was fresh and delicious, we couldn't find a single fault. We will certainly be returning.

If you want your meal on time don’t go for delivery . Waited over an hour and a half and at no time did they say there would be a delay. The portions are much smaller than previous owners. Such a shame because this used to be the best to order from . Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was amazing but the service by Johnny made our night what a beautiful young man thank you so much he was so helpful and friendly and he was the highlight of our night

Duck pancakes were as dry as …a duck outta water ! Never have I had duck so dry- it was like it had been baked shredded to a crisp. Nothing to write home about for sure
