So great! Decided on this place last minute. We were trying to get a last dose of Indian food on our way out of town. We hit up Indian Summer, and while it was fine if you’re looking for a more UK-ified hipster take, it really wasn’t the authentic Indian spot. This place is small, run by Indians, and Indian customers. In other words, it’s legit. Get the Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower) and Chili Paneer appetizers for sure. The curries were great, and the bread (get the Parota) was like none I’ve had before. So good and soft and flakey in a way. Great people and staff and would definitely be back.
Food “Super se bhe upper” best South Indian food in Brighton. I’m 3 weeks in this country. I ate few places Indian food but not feel indian taste or aroma. But “Madrasi’s” 10/10* Food presentation 10/10 Food taste 10/10 Service 10/10
Food's always lovely when eating in but got a delivery and one of the dishes was NOT good. Tasteless gloop I suspect it was a mass produced thing. Not what I expected or paid for.
Massively recommend this place. 11 of us went this evening and all thought it was very special. Very good food, very good value and friendly helpful staff.

Amazing giant dosai! We had a delicious, smooth, mango lassi and a tasty lamb curry too. We'll be back to try the roti byriani too

Authentic and delicious. Staff were lovely. The dosa was so crispy. The starters were incredible. Highly recommended
Dosas are not something you usually see in your standard India restaurant menu, the dosas here are outstanding.
