I was in the city of Tampa and I came to this restaurant some 7 years ago, which I remember being good. But the experience I had for lunch today was terrible. I am 100% Peruvian and white/make these dishes. Food and service were terrible. The causa de pollo seemed to be a few days ago. It's a tiny portion of which I took two bites. My girlfriend had Papa la huancaina and didn't taste authentic. More than it has been in the refrigerator for several days and we will serve you. Manager said I had to pay 50% because I ate half. I ate two bites and my girlfriend ate a potato slice from the 5 small pieces of potato. It is definitely a children's size appetizer. The teenage waiter didn't ask us how...
I love this place! You can count on really helpful, and friendly service. They have a large menu full of options. So feel free to ask your server for suggestions. This is a not a large space, but seats just enough. My go to is their Arroz con Mariscos (seafood rice), but I also love their Chaufa Arroz (Asian flavor rice). I am super picky when it comes to eating rice, but there is something about Peruvian rice dishes that I cannot describe. Absolutely fantastic, please just try for yourself. Also, their ceviche is full of flavor perfection, and is a large portion. Oh yeah, can't forget about the Causa, if you like potatoes, room temperature or cold, a Causa dish may possibly blow your mind....
Married to a Peruvian we seek peruvian food all the time. Not many places around the country that make authentic Peruvian foods. So far maybe 3 places in ny that we have visited. And now this place.Decent sized portions.Food was delicious. I recommend the chaufa.I tasted about 5 different dishes from our table and loved them all! Their chicha tasted authentic too. Which is harder to find. I usually end up adding ingredients at the table but this one tasted great.Highly recommend this place when ever in Florida.
First time eating here, and was very pleased with the atmosphere, food quality and service. The food had so much flavor making it so delicious, service was fast and on point and the setting was romantic, a nice dark setting with music playing. We went on a Saturday around 7pm and was not busy. The location sucks for them. Because with how great of experience we had I felt they needed to be well seen. GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY !!!! MUY BUENO !

Pretty good. I went today to this peruvian restaurant with my family for my hubby's birthday. Ana and Pili were very friendly. We ordered 2 Ceviche de Pescado, quantity was generous and flavor was delicious, we also ordered chicken tenders with french fries for my daughters, they both liked it. Very good restaurant, recommended 100
First time visiting Taste of Peru, we had a Good experience, we waited about 20 minutes for our food, what is normal when your food is freshly made. Each plate was tasty. The pollo saltado a lo pobre is super good, and the chocolate cake is amazing. Recommended it.
Amazing surprise from a small package! The restaurant is small and from the outside. The interior is comfortable and the food amazing. Try the Peruvian beer and finish the fried ice cream. Dave and Marjan
Had a great experience in this restaurant. The restaurant was updated and clean. The food was delicious. Portions right. Friendly servers! The lunch menu was very cheap. I hope you like music.

Once Peruvian food tried and it was amazing. So full of taste, cooked for perfection. The dessert was also delicious. The service was great. The restaurant is nice and clean.
Fresh food, I loved the fish dishes. It is more of a homemade food. I recommend going with your friends to share more dishes and have a great time. Good work?
