Taste of the Himalayas

Dined here with friends on a Friday night. Promptly seated and served, nice decor maintaining the theme of the himalayas. Good choice of dishes, though we opted for the banquet option. Meals were very nice and for those not familiar with Nepalese cuisine, it was similar to Indian cuisine. There were some dishes adopted for local tastes and produce availability, such as the Barramundi curry, but was really good.In fact, it was hard to find fault with this place at all, as it appears to also be popular with locals who use the take-away service they offer as well. Six of us for a Saturday night get together and this was the first visit here for us all.We decided on the banquet for six and it was excellent.The food was fresh, hot and full of flavour. We did wait a bit longer than usual between entree and mains but apart from that everything was very good.Their menu is great along with the drinks available.Service was friendly and knowledgable and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.We used our Entertainment books and they were happy to accept them.We will definitely be back and plan to go when they have the Sunday night buffet once a month.

Very nicely decorated restaurant depicting its origin.Although the restaurant was fully booked, the service was great with very warm friendly waiters. The food was great. Six of us went and all enjoyed our meals which was very tasty.We had entrees and main courses which were all delicious. If you hadn't tried Nepalese food it is similar to Indian food but perhaps not as hot but they can make it hotter if you wish. Very aromatic and beautifully tasty. Love this place. They make you feel very welcome.

One of the best and most popular restaurants we've come across in ages.The entrees and meat dishes are subtly spiced and absolutely delicious. We chose one of the banquets and were delighted at the interesting and very yummy entree. The main meal consisted of a slow cooked Sherpa lamb curry as well as a chicken curry in peanut sauce. My wife and decided to try this restaurant as it was in our entertainment book and we were not disappointed. Lovely venue and if your a curry lover as we are then you will enjoy, not just the food but the attention to detail from the friendly staff made lunch a pleasure..try it, very authentic food and reasonabley priced.

Never been disappointed here. Food always excellent and more subtle than most India rsturants. Staff always friendly. Always amazed it's not more busy but prices are a tad higher than average - bu then so is the standard!

An nice interior with splendid food and great service. We had 3 courses and each was well paced. They only had two wait staff on, but the two were very attentive. Definitely will be returning

My husband and I had a lovely banquet for two. The food was extremely tasty and could not fault it. Restaurant was very clean including the toilets. Looking forward to going back soon Reserva una mesa ahora

First time visit and not disappointed. Group of 6 mature aged women - dined on samosas, lamb, goat and vegetable curries - all yum. Very reasonably priced. Excellent service

Great service. The goat curry was very good. I'd never had it before so was pleasantly surprised. Entrees were fabulous. I'll be going back. My new favourite restaurant.
