the holy grail of sushi. can someone say sushi doraku or todai? the taste of tokio has knocked down the hands. I'm a sushi-fiend... love quality and quantity. I have eaten in the best sushi restaurants and buffets. this is high quality hand made sushi as they in japan (serious, I was there on floating wooden boats (29 of them, I counted! constantly in the restaurant, wait, it will take better whatever they desire, finish them all they take and it is twenty dollars per person! this is the best kept sushi secret in chicagoland! don't tell me that it's too far, either. We have been going to Taste of Tokyo for over 6 years, It’s sad that it took us so long to discover this place. It is our favorite sushi around here. Their hospitality and customer service is what sets them apart. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. They have rolls for everyone! When my wife was pregnant, she craved ToT and they accommodated us with her special dietary needs. She ate rolls like sweet potato, shrimp tempura, and other specialty items Joseph was able to create. the taste of tokio is amazing. I and my family visited this place for over a year and that was our to-go restaurant to eat. the sushi tastes absolutely great. I recommend zoom zoom and raup, they taste amazing. the staff is super nice and friendly. the atmosphere is clean and cozy. will always be me and my family

this is our favorite sushi place in buffalo grove. we didn't wash in, just pick up. the sushi and roll are always fresh and look amazing. our favorite roles are rainbow, dragon, mapia, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna lachs and spider. we like it on the spicy side.
