One of my favorite places for Chinese food in West LA! I was surprised to find them in Sawtelle, since Sawtelle mainly has ramen/Japanese restaurants. There is usually no wait for a table which is super nice. They serve a variety of Shanghainese dishes from rice to noodle dishes to dimsum. I especially love their Pan-fried pork buns and their Shanghai style Chow Mein. The Pan-fried pork buns are crispy on the bottom but soft and juicy inside. Definitely try them with the vinegar. The Chow Mein noodles are the perfect chewiness and so delicious. I also tried their lamb with cumin and string beans with potato which were both so flavorful. The potions are huge and perfect for family style.
I tried the Shanghai pan-fried rice cake and it was excellent. The texture of the rice cake was perfect and the dish wasn't too salty. The vegetables and meat were also cooked just right. I would recommend this place and will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
In terms of parking, there is a reasonable lot in front of the restaurant, but it can get crowded as there are many popular restaurants in the same mall. I was lucky to find a space at 12:30 on a Wednesday. There is also some limited street parking available, and I noticed more spaces in the nearby neighborhood area.
Literally some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in my life. I truly don’t understand the bad reviews. Highly recommend the grilled pork buns, they’re super juice and flavorful. All the portions are big and good for sharing. The cucumber salad is also super tasty. Will be coming back many more times to try as much of their menu as I can!
This place was a recent find and I am satisfied every time I go. The food is great, the place looks great and the people are so nice. I always try a new dish when I go and I have yet to be disappointed. The prices is pretty good too! Would highly recommend giving Tasty Noodle House a try! ?Food: 5/5

Wait time at another restaurant made us decide for choosing this place. Clean and pretty oridinary. We ordered the tasty one pot with tofu and vegetables, fish dumplings and chicken. Serving sizes and justified the price. We had leftovers for next day's lunch. Food was Ok. Staff was friendly.
Tasty should not be in the title. It was some of the worst asian dishes I have tried anywhere in the world. The service is completely horrible and the staff is beyond rude. They talk down to you, try to rush you, and treat you like if it’s a gift to even get a table at this lousy joint. F
If you are dining with individuals who do not eat pork, the beef buns and wine chicken are excellent choices. We ordered a variety of dishes for a group of five people, and the total came to $20 per person after tax, before tip. It was an incredible value!
I'm addicted to the rice cakes from here. I've had it many places but I like theirs the best. The cold chicken is good too. They're in a super busy shopping center, cause it's Sawtelle. But only issue is the servers can be very lazy

Too much sauce on everything we ordered, it's like eating expensive panda express. Maybe the menu is too expansive, should focus only on what they make well.
I highly recommend trying the Shanghai grilled pork buns as they are very flavorful and juicy. I would rate the food 4 out of 5 stars.
