This place has gussied up since my last visit. Thick fancy menus and dimmer lights. The food here is good. I recommend the spinach flatbread as an appetizer. Outdoor seating and a spacious inside is a plus. Usually looks busy but we also get seated quickly. Staff was quick and attentive. Prices are a little bit more than I'd like to pay but not unreasonable for a family business. TVs featuring sports games line the walls and clash with the attempts at finer dining. Food is good, not great. You can do much worse in Belleville.
We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere is great. Theres a nice comfortable laid back vibe with a touch of class. We ordered wings, caeser salad and pizza. I had the lobster BLT and my husband had the meat pizza. My pizza was outstanding, the garlic aioli was perfect. The wings are charbroiled and have a layers of flavor and spice. The server was very attentive, personable and offered suggestions.
Took my daughter and son-in-law along with my wife and granddaughter to this restaurant last night and while the restaurant was somewhat crowded the hostess seated us all right away! We all ordered something different and I must say we all raved how good both the service and the food was here. Their house salad and dressing was like no other! We will certainly be back and very soon too!

I've been twice now and ordered different things each time (pasta carbonara and a burger) with a variety of different appetizers including fried mushrooms and fish tacos. Every single item I've had has been incredibly bland. I don't know what it is, maybe I'm just insane. The food looks great and the atmosphere is nice, it's just everything is so incredibly bland to me.
We really enjoyed our meal here, everything we had was really good. Shrimp and flatbread starters, scallops and ribeye main course, all very tasty. The venue had a nice atmosphere, was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Much thanks to our cousins for treating us to such a nice dinner.

A staple of downtown Belleville, Tavern on Main has great ambience both in the indoor courtyard and outside on the patio. The food is good and well prepared. The highlight is the exceptional staff who are friendly and will to go the extra mile!

Met friends for lunch at their suggestion. The Sweet Italian salad is a must have. The Reuben is delicious well balanced and not too messy.
