Tavern On The Tye

staying in the picturesque village of alfriston, in this very cozy and welcoming pub, felt as if she was too foot in someone's house. the staff were very friendly and friendly, we ordered a few drinks and sat in the garden where a few Malteser-terriers came and sat on our round. we later returned to a roaring open fire and more dogs! after playing some board games delivered from the pub, we ordered a cake everyone, homemade and served with fresh veg and gravy, delicious, about £11 everyone. a very pleasant experience, all in all (they must be a dog lover, though)

amazing garden over the church and the village green. there are limited parking spaces on the back and they can enter from there as well as the high road. we had creamtees. the scones were very nice. the only part was that the scones didn't come out long and until then we had finished the tee.

a beautiful small tavern with a warm wood fire. the owners are beautiful and eating is delicious. perfect for a rainy day.
