Food was good, I’ve been a patron of the restaurant in Astoria for years. This was my first experience at the Bayside location. One of the most horrible dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I never felt so rushed in a restaurant in my life and I wouldn’t mind, but it was a 2 PM arrival and the restaurant was not even extremely busy. It’s not like they needed the tables. We ordered several appetizers and a salad and the waiter kept pushing us to order the entrées immediately claiming that they were going to take forever to cook and so we had to get them in. Sure enough, we were full from the salad and appetizers and we wouldn’t have ordered as many entrées as we did, Had he not rushed...
The food was well-seasoned and absolutely delicious! The Brandi o was incredibly moist and practically melted in my mouth. The crab-stuffed shrimp was tasty, although slightly overcooked. The salad was fresh, and the whole feta added a great touch of salty flavor. The complimentary bread and baklava were the perfect way to start and end our meal. Our waitress was attentive and accommodating, though I can understand why some guests might have felt rushed. The restaurant was packed, with many people still waiting for tables. As soon as our food arrived, the salad was whisked away quickly, even while I still had a forkful in hand. Despite that, it was still a delightful dining experience.
I visited this restaurant with my coworkers, and initially, the hostess seated us at a table, but it seemed there was a mix-up with another party since they were already there. We didn’t have a reservation, so we understood there might be some difficulty accommodating a larger group on short notice. Just as we were thinking of leaving, the manager noticed us standing outside and offered to assist us in finding a table. We were seated within five minutes. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, although it felt a bit cramped despite its spacious appearance. The food was delicious, and the staff was excellent. My coworkers and I really enjoyed our time there.
The ambiance, service, and food were all exceptional. The grilled octopus was enjoyable, but I probably wouldn't order it again. We also had the pita with assorted spreads, which is always a must-have. As for the mussels… they were absolutely divine. The combination of the red sauce and feta was unlike anything I've ever tried, and I would definitely return just for the mussels. The house Chardonnay was quite good, too. It's a perfect spot for a date night!

good thing we got in there in time, otherwise there is always a line. the bronzino was delicious! loved their grilled octopus and their side of beets. the large greek salad was huge for the 4 of us! will be back. the spread was nothing special and they charge extra for pita
I had the Santorini Eruption drink, and it was awesome. Wasn't keen on the stuffed shrimp, I liked the shrimp but not the stuffing. The chicken kebab was awesome. Will go back with other friends.
Very fresh food everything from the salad through the fish dishes tastes like it was picked up a few hours before Very clean open kitchen dishes are amazing and atmospherei super !!
The grilled octopus was fantastic. The branzino was wonderful. The Kyclades Special was very bland, and I don't recommend that dish. Overall, it was a great restaurant.

You know it's good because it's always packed. Everything's good, but I specifically count on it for being one of the only places I can get good swordfish.
