The drinks are priced around $5.50 each, but the portions are generous. They use honey boba, which is chewy and slightly overpowering for my taste, though not excessively so. I appreciated that they use paper straws instead of plastic. The popcorn chicken, priced at $9, is delicious and moist, although the marinade might have a bit too much oyster sauce. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. They also accept credit cards.
Ten Ren's Tea Station consistently delivers wonderfully aromatic tea. They really know what they're doing. We tried the rose black milk tea and oolong milk tea with 50% sugar, and both were incredibly fragrant and delicious! The rose flavor was delightfully floral. The boba was perfectly cooked, providing a delightful chewy texture. While the paper straws are a nice eco-friendly touch, make sure not to leave them in the drink for too long!
Came here for early dinner and got a set of 瓜子肉饭 which is just minced braised pork rice. There is indoor seating and food comes in takeaway boxes (makes for easy pack up if you don't finish). I loved that it came in a set with my favorite homey Chinese dish ever-tomato fried egg! Food was delicious and brings me back to simpler times. The service was also amazing! The 阿姨who helped me that day was so nice and sweet!
I LIEBE Tea Station and I have been going to several other locations for years! This is my first time to go to Temple City, what I noticed about this, it has plenty of space. Of course, with Covid, they probably limit how many tables they can put out. The consistency of tea was strong but smooth and the service was good. I'm really happy I discovered this Taiwanese restaurant. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the variety of dishes is irresistible. I tried their teas and hot desserts, and they were fantastic! It's quickly become one of my favorite places. The customer service is excellent as well.
The boba here is quite good! The popcorn chicken was tasty and nicely seasoned. I do wish the seasoning was more evenly mixed in with the chicken instead of just sitting on top. It's a shame that this location is moving to a different place; I will definitely miss it!
Tried the weekend-only soufflé pancakes, they taste great, not sweet at all. I love that they have good quality Japanese tea like genmaicha and hojicha
