Arrived at restaurant only thirty minutes prior to closing. The fact that we received excellent service and superior quality food (versus the end of the night pot scrape and the jaded waiter) spoke volumes. I've been to the restaurant many times, over many years and can vouch for the consistency in top notch service and food quality over time. I had the worst meal ever and was so disappointed. I've always loved going there. But my meal was terrible. The menu has definitely changed and to me is no different than other eating places except for the very few bison entrees. My fave was always the Bison Pot Roast. Well no more. People were great and service was great. My Bison short ribs salt overload and burnt. Disappointment PLUS !!!!! In the end, I decided to eat the crab cake since the quality was actually quite good. However, I had to raise my hand to get the check, and even then, he didn’t inquire about my experience. I visited on Thursday evening around 7:30 pm, and while Burtons and Red Heat had people waiting for tables, Ted’s had only about four tables seated and five people at the bar. I did not sit in the main dining room on this visit, but the bar area was very nice and clean. The staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was old school high end. The food and drinks were great, with the drinks being on the high end cost wise. Also the bathroom was well maintained. Great experience and I will definitely be back! This restaurant offers delicious food that’s bound to satisfy your cravings. While it may not be the absolute best in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. The service was quite good as well. If you want to experience a place frequented by a true icon, you should definitely check it out!
