Teesalon Madame Wu

i love tea houses, and this one did not disappoint. service was quick and friendly with a decent selection of teas of all kinds. my boyfriend was a little bummed at the lack of lapsong souchong on the menu, but there were other interesting varieties to sample. i enjoyed the presentation of the tea, on its own tray with a timer, cookie, and beautiful drink-ware. the ambiance was nice and i LOVED that they are open late. (i believe, until 23:00)? it made it a great alternative to a bar- just what i was looking for.

The Tee Salon is a place to get together with friends, family loved ones over a cup of tea. They have a wide variety of teas. Some sides are offered but one goes there to drink not too eat. Whats nice is that its not a smoky place, no loud bar atmosphere, and you can really carry on a conversation in a lounge like atmosphere. There is also a shop where you can purchase the teas offered and various tea kettles and accoutrements. This is a good alternative to the bar scene.

In a quiet corner of the old city of Linz there is this little gem: a tiny shop, with at the back a larger space wit a cosy, sort of living room feel to it, where you can try all the teas sold in the shop as well. service is very good, some sweets are served as well, experience for yourself when you have the chance!

We had the back space reserved for a small party. Service was great throughout brunch and we had more than enough food. Only downside to the back area is the proximity of the entrance to the kitchen but it was all fine. I highly recommend Madame Wu’s!
