On 4 September 2023, at 11:13am, I used my debit card at this bar. I was the only customer, the first because the bar had just opened. My card details were fraudulently copied at that moment (skimming). Later that day, four transactions/payments were made in Brighton from my bank account using contactless technology, including twice at... the Tempest bar (around 6pm). I noticed these four uses (thefts) the next day. On the 4 septembre, I stayed less than a hour on the terrace of the , then I left and never came back. Total of the thefts : £190 card blocking and replacement fee of £50. Be careful
I had a fantastic experience at this beachside bar. I visited with a few friends on a Sunday afternoon along the Brighton seafront, and we ended up staying at this bar the entire time. The music was excellent, and they served delicious local beers. The staff was incredibly friendly, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy a few drinks in the sun. I highly recommend this place.
I had a fantastic experience at The Tempest last weekend! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were delightful. We sipped on some refreshing drinks on the terrace and enjoyed a beautiful view of the sea. We had originally planned to go elsewhere for the night, but we loved it so much that we ended up staying all night! It's a fantastic spot on the Brighton beachfront.
One of my favourite spots in Brighton- right by the sea you can’t beat it!! I’ll bring my family here for some delicious food, local beers and aperol spritz’s or come down on a weekend night with friends for a boogie listening to some incredible dj’s! Lovely staff and bouncers- one of a kind venue!

One of the best venues I have visited in Brighton! Such friendly staff and a great selection of drinks (frozen margs were my fav ! Perfect for a sunny day as right on the beach! Will definitely be back here again
Love this place great pub in the sun and so much fun at the terrace parties! The staff are so lovely and accommodating! Food is delicious and love sitting in the sun with an apperol spritz !
The best place for a few pints in the sunshine, lovely location right by the sea stayed until night time was brill for a little boogie. Really friendly staff would definitely visit again :

Brighton is my ultimate favorite spot to enjoy summer sunsets!! I adore the terrace parties and the frozen margaritas all night long at this restaurant.
