Looking for a great restaurant in China for our jubilee We have luck over the restaurant Temple Garden. We came there at 17.00 and had a delicious dinner of Shrimp Egg Foo Young, which I usually don't like. But this young boy has changed my mind forever! At first it was almost 2 inches thick. And stuffed with shrimps, eggs, bean sprouts, onions and flavors so savory that the Temple House Oyster Sauce had me come back for seconds. And the most beautiful Honey Glazed Pork Spare Ribs I've ever had! They were so tender and glazed in enough honey to not be too sweet. sprinkled with sliced, roasted garlic livers. Her house fried rice is also ingenious, mixed with chicken, beef, pork and much more....

I brought a friend here today. I drove by this place and decided to try it. This place is in the same area as Food Maxx. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The place was clean and cozy. I got the general Chao lunch special with fried rice for 6.99... He got the steak chow mein and sweet and sour prawns which he loved. The general chicken was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed it. He said he really loved his food. God willing...I would be back for sure. If you check into yelp they give you 4 free egg rolls.

Temple Garden is the best Chinese restaurant in Citrus Heights. Every dish on their menu is made fresh to order. Unlike many places that serve Walnut Shrimp coated in a heavy batter, theirs is lightly battered, allowing the large shrimp to shine through. They use fresh vegetables, including whole mushrooms and zucchini, which are always cooked to perfection. This place definitely deserves a five-star rating!

The food just needed a bit more seasoning, but everything else was perfect. A little soy sauce would easily fix that. I personally prefer my dishes to be more seasoned. The portion size is amazing for the price as well. They were incredibly fast; my meal was ready in just 10 minutes! We returned here with some friends and decided to order family style at very reasonable prices. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was delicious, as was the General Tso's Chicken. The woman managing the restaurant was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. We also enjoyed watching the cooking shows playing on the TV at our table. We will definitely return to eat here again!

The Satay Beef Chow Fun was overly salty, which overshadowed all the other flavors. The noodles were not the traditional chow mein texture; they were too large and overcooked. While chow fun is meant to have bigger noodles, these were more akin to small lasagna strips. On the other hand, the rice and Egg Flower Soup were excellent.

I placed my order online less than 10 minutes before I arrived, and everything was ready when I got there. The orange chicken dish was really delicious; I loved the combination of the orange sauce with the rice. The interior of the restaurant looks newly renovated and is absolutely beautiful.

It was absolutely delicious. The Walnut prawns were insanely good. Fried shrimp was breaded perfectly. Kung Pao beef was on point. I'm usually critical of Chinese restaurants too but this place was a great find. I ordered delivery, the #2 family deal for two $31-32. Had good sized portions Reserva una mesa ahora

This is my go-to place for Chinese food: quality ingredients, fresh veggies, house-made sauces, delicious food and excellent service! They also offer low cost delivery. Love it!
