Visited Tesco cafe with my family for a spot of lunch. After sitting at the table for nearly 10 minutes waiting for a server to come out of the kitchen I headed to the cash desk to place my order when a waiter and waitress came out of the kitchen and walked right past me out of the door then had to wait another 5 minutes for someone else to come out. While in the middle of placing my order the waitress with a permanent frown on her face proceeded to start making a coffee for someone then come back and complete my order. Called in for a light breakfast after weekly shop. COVID 19 regulations observed, tables well placed along with Track and Trace. Ordered rolls and sausage and lattes. Service at counter was friendly enough. Rolls were served within minutes but not so our drinks. It took over 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive and only after I had to ask for them. An apology for the delay would have been nice. We were more than halfway through our rolls before the drinks arrived. When one staff member was clearing a table a fellow diner noticed a large drinks container had fallen over and the contents had emptied onto the floor. I went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch. The table was dirty. I ordered eggs Benedict and halfway through, I noticed the bread was tough. Upon closer inspection, I saw a bit of mold on it. I brought it to the counter and was met with a nonchalant response, offering to give me my money back. This was unacceptable and made me feel sick. When they returned my money, I also mentioned that the table was dirty and still had dishes on it. They replied that they were busy, even though there were only two other tables occupied at the time. I will be reporting this to the health department. I definitely will not be returning.
Service was appalling .. was having hot chocolate, asked if I wanted cream and mallows, I asked was it extra .. big sigh and looks at board, where it just says with cream and mallows (in my defense, sometimes its still extra! , Noooo. Still trying to be upbeat I say, can I have the mallows on the side then (am veggie , I get a dollop of cream on the plate and the mallows are dropped all over it ! and then thumped on my tray .. gee thanks ! Most of the tables were needing cleared, the place was a mess and the staff are not helpful at all ! Will not be back .. ever!

Just been to Tesco cafe ordered two all day breakfast two teas and toast first the tea came then half an hour later the breakfast the bacon was cold the sausages were disgusting and as for the eggs you could have bounced them of the wall the tables were filthy had to clean our own the cutlery was dirty the girl put her finger in my chips to pick out a piece of egg that was in the bowl of chips how disgusting is that best to say we won't be eating in there again awful and it cost £15 I would not recommend this place to anyone
Came here for breakfast before shopping, it will be the last time. Scrambled egg on toast and an egg sandwich with a small white coffee and a fresh orange 10.80. Don’t know how the girl got to that price as the scrambled egg on toast is 2.95, coffe 2 and juice 2, which means the egg sandwich must have cost 3.85. How can an egg sandwich be that when the scrambled egg on toast is 2.95. I mean it’s the same products being used with less effort. Not impressed.
The restaurant had a great atmosphere, but the cafe left much to be desired. The food was subpar and the service was abysmal. I have never experienced such poor customer service in a cafe before. I will not be returning.
The Tesco chain is a well stocked affordable supermarket chain. The Tesco at Glasgow is very convenient as it gives one a chance to buy a last minute gift without paying too dollar.

The restaurant is excellent, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. It is conveniently located in the center, surrounded by M&S, Costa, B&M, and Barrhead Travel Agency.
