The Cottage Cafe Bistro

We stumbled upon this restaurant while waiting for the bus to Largs on Monday, June 27th, 2022. The entrance at the back of the building is lovely, with outdoor wooden seating. The breakfast we had was enjoyable, despite my toast being a bit overdone. The Tattie och was well-seasoned and not too greasy. My chicken soup was flavorful, though it could have been warmer. The staff added cream to it, making it just right. The restaurant also serves quality sorbet ice cream, though I prefer the ice cream from Esplanade Caffe. Overall, a pleasant dining experience. Just be cautious of the crack in the disabled toilet seat.

The food at this restaurant is consistently fresh and delicious. They offer take-out service for lunch at an affordable price of £1–10 per person. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5 and the service a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying their soup.

The food was excellent as usual. I just wanted to quickly thank the delivery driver from Sunday. I had accidentally overpaid by £10 and he waited patiently at my door to make sure I received the refund. I am very grateful, thanks again! Reserva una mesa ahora

I visited this restaurant for the first time and will definitely be back. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Now I'm enjoying the best piece of old-fashioned cake ever.

Well over priced for a cafe, steak pie had burnt taste to it, opted for this as even more expensive for roast dinner, staff are very friendly though and it’s a nice cafe
