Not being regular Japanese food diners our group ordered the $70 p/h banquet which consisted of Cabbage salad, Edamame, Beef Tataki, Seafood volcano, Gyoza, Tempura, choice of Teriyaki chicken beef chicken cats or chashu and dessert or plum wine. Our group was mainly big blokes with healthy appetites and our wait staff said we would have no problems making it to the desert when quizzed about the size of the servings.The food was delicious and it just kept coming! And coming! After five courses we were begging for mercy but we managed to make it to the eighth dish even if we had to relegate some food to take away dishes. So much food and all delicious The resteraunt is almost clinically clean...
Pros: A few Vegan options. Lovely yummy fresh Japanese food. Very friendly and helpful host. No fuss. Food seems like it is made with love. Always nice to feel that love is a factor. Efficient service. Good ambiance. Across the road from the park near the seaside. Would definitely recommend to a friend.Cons: A little on the pricey side for the budget conscious but most restaurants seem to be that way.
Visiting from Melbourne and staying at Sanctuary cove, we found this little place almost by accident. The food and service are excellent, while the decor is modern Japanese, very open and clean. We thought it a bit expensive at first but the servings are generous and it's actually good value. We were surprised to find it's BYO wine too. So good we're going back asap !
Love this restaurant, food is amazing so fresh and delicious , we are from melbourne, and all the time we visit the gold coast, a few times per year, we never miss eating here. Restaurant is beautifully styled, so bright and clean, staff a so lovely, always a beautiful relaxing evening.

Whether it's for a quick takeaway or a cosy dinner, Tetsuaki never disappoints with its fresh and expertly prepared food. I like to spoil myself the Bento boxes. Handy location. Good parking just around the corner or straight out front. Friendly and efficient service.
Love the Bento Boxes, so well presented, flavoursome and fresh. It's a little expensive for Japanese, compared to other locations on the coast. Service is friendly and efficient. Pleasant atmosphere to dine in, we live close to here, do a great option for Japanese
Great food, well presented and so so fresh. Prices at the upper end, but when food is this good, you don't mind. Excellent service, unobtrusive but there when required. No hesitation in recommending a great Japanese experience on the Northern Coast.
An awesome dinner with an amazing crew from work. Food is sensational, fresh and delicious. Service was great and a fun night had by all. Thankyou to the staff at Tetsuaki, a must when visiting Paradise Point on the Gold Coast.

Dropped in for dinner on the way home from work without a reservation. Not too crowded since a Tuesday night. Very pleasant atmosphere and good quality Gyoza and Tempura. Will definitely go again.
The service was great and the timing of the entree to main was well handled. The food was quite tasty and reasonably priced. The ambience is a bit stark But the service and food made up for that.
