Chose a mid week and early dinner with my wife to try (for the first time) a meal at this restaurant. Have driven past many times and seems well patronised. We were the first to arrive on the night, so were expecting attentive care from the staff. The manager was busy briefing his two wait staff (possibly training them) so once we had ordered we were abandoned so to speak. The food came quickly, albeit a little bland for my liking. Could have done with more seasoning. We chose a sizzling tofu dish with pineapple fried rice. Generally ok. Two complaints - cleanliness of the walls at ground level - stained and oily looking. Uno de mis restaurantes asiáticos favoritos absolutos en Perth, comemos aquí casi todas las quincenas y la comida es constante fresca y deliciosa. La configuración no es elegante, pero la comida está más que compensa la decoración. Platos destacados: carne picada vietnamita, pescado de jengibre, canasta de langostinos, pollo de limón, arroz frito, diversión vietnamita y, por supuesto, sus rollos de papel de arroz. Honestamente, no he comido un mal plato aquí y la calidad de los ingredientes utilizados es excelente. Definitivamente vale la pena revisar.
One of my absolute favourite Asian restaurants in Perth, we eat here almost every fortnight and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. The setting isn't fancy but the food more than makes up for the decor. Standout dishes: Vietnamese diced beef, Ginger fish, Prawn basket, lemongrass chicken, fried rice, Vietnamese hor fun and of course their rice paper rolls. I honestly haven't eaten a bad dish here and the quality of the ingredients used is excellent. Definitely worth checking out.
No, ninguno de los Nedlands, excepto AppleCross. Tomado Zomato 6 meses y aún no reconoce TQR Applecross en la carretera de Sleat. Gran cena casual vietnamita. La comida era muy sabrosa y salió a un tiempo razonable, considerando que el restaurante estaba lleno de un domingo por la noche. Los platos también son de muy buen tamaño que es más de lo que puedo decir para la tendencia actual en la cocina india, que es servir a su principal en una taza de huevos.
No not the Nedlands one but APPLECROSS. Taken Zomato 6 months and still doesn't recognize TQR Applecross on Sleat Road. Similar food to Nedlands but nicer cosy decor and easier parking. Good friendly service. Good prices for mixed Vietnamese and Asian meals. Try the Hanoi prawns as entree and the Lemongrass Fish as a main.
great casual Vietnamese dining. the food was very tasty and came out at a reasonable time considering the restaurant was full on a Sunday evening. the dishes are also a very good size which is more than I can say for the current trend in Indian cuisine which is to serve your main in an egg cup.
Lovely food and service. Would definitely recommend it. So much food we were able to take the leftovers home. Also in the entertainment book which was great.
