I ordered my favorite dish, beef and broccoli, at this restaurant and was very disappointed with the food. The portion of beef was excessive, the broccoli pieces were large and mushy, and there were hardly any carrots, watercress, or nuts included - despite me specifically stating that I did not want them. It seemed like the dish was pre-made earlier in the day due to the proportions and ingredients included. In the past, I have had no issues ordering from the lunch menu when I called ahead, but now it seems that you need to call within the first hour they are open to receive the lunch menu, which used to be available until 3pm. I will not be ordering this dish again and am unsure if I want...
My husband and I have just discovered this hidden gem and their food is only $2 a scoop! The lady isn't very talkative, but she was nice. The only thing I would change would be the chicken and potatoes. I would drop the chicken and just serve potatoes, because they are very good on their own! The general tso chicken is good as well, but I would fry it a little harder since it has to sit in the sauce so it doesn't get soggy. All and all my meal was good for the price.
Hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever received in my life. Mongolian beef was gummy and chewy. When I took a bite of the egg roll the cabbage was so runny I thought there was a cream sauce inside of it. Chicken Lo Mein was absolutely inedible. Basically a waste of 30 dollars, we got this and still had to go get lunch because no one could eat it.
You definitely get what you pay for, but that’s not always a bad thing. I love this place and have been going here for several years.
