It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that the last Baan Thai restaurant has closed. They served the best satay chicken in Queensland. The owner has retired after dedicating so much effort to offering us such delightful cuisine. My friends and I wish both him and his wife a joyful retirement.
I've been enjoying delicious food here for over a year. The service is fast and friendly, and the staff speaks good English and is always smiling. The beef curry with peanuts is fantastic! For just $21, I get a meal that feeds me for both dinner and lunch the next day.
This is the best Thai restaurant for authentic Thai cuisine. The tom yum soup was delicious, and the staff were absolutely fantastic. It's our go-to spot for quick service and wonderful Thai dishes.

This is the worst fluorescent green Thai curry I have ever tasted. The special fried rice came with frozen vegetables that were still cold!
I had a delicious chili basil chicken made with minced chicken. It was a clean and peaceful lunch enjoyed in a charming retro dining room.
