I travel a lot because of my job, and so I have eaten at a LOT of Thai restaurants all over Australia, and this by far is one of the most outstanding restaurants.The customer service was exceptional; when my partner and I walked up to the restaurant, the door was opened for us by a staff member who greeted us in the traditional Thai manner and then led us to our seats. I was served by a very friendly waitress with a wonderful sense of humour, and she was very attentive to our needs and took very good care of us (sorry I forgot your name). After reading the reviews and looking at photo's of Thai Mudgee, I was so excited to go to the restaurant and taste the great sensations of Thai food. I was very disappointed by the service and also the portions of food. Mixed entrees were cold. Service was very slow, we had the banquet but the portions were very small to the point if it was a meat dish we would get one piece of meat each. I was looking forward to taking my husband back to this restaurant but I don't think it is worth the trip. It appeared that the staff were concentrating more on the take away section rather than the customers in the restaurant.
I want to extend a big thank you to the Management and Staff for providing exceptional "walk and talk" cuisine and impeccable service for my VIP guests at my private Archibald Portrait Reveal on Friday, April 6th. The red velvet cheesecake was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed celebrating under the stars on the balcony, with our own music and drink waitress, separate entrance, bar, and facilities. The evening breeze, ceiling fans, and lovely candlelit pottery added to the ambiance. This venue is warm and inviting, perfect for any special occasion. Had our first meal here after waiting for years and hearing fantastic reviews. We had a table of 8 and each ordered a dish each plus rice. The mains came out minus the rice!! We thought rice was basic and quick but we waited over 20 minutes after our mains were served and after asking where our rice was! On a positive note the food was beautiful but didn't make up for not having rice to enjoy it with.

Balcony 69 Recently opened above Thai Mudgee,our group dined here for breakfast and we were not disappointed.The service was fast and our food was out in no time.The food was nicely cooked and beautifully presented.The menu is very affordable,big breakfast $12.We will definitely be returning to this delightful restaurant:))))))
This restaurant is owned and operated by Muslims. No pork is served. The restaurant is over- crowded, noisy and the wait time for service is very, very lengthy! My wife and I waited 45 minutes to be served barely warm entrees. We definitely would not recommend this establishment.
We've been going to this restaurant since it opened ( in another location ) many years ago . Still outstanding after all this time . Great service , fantastic fresh produce . Simply the best Thai food we've found on the coast . Outstanding .
This is the most amazing gem that we have here in Mudgee. It is always busy and no matter wether I eat there or I get take aways the food is outstanding, the staff are always smiling and helpful. I cannot recommend Thai Mudgee highly enough.
