The friendliest Thai staff welcome you to a tasting experience that suits my not so hot palate (on request of course as it can be made as hot as you can tolerate). The money bag entrees are my partners favorite but I love the calamari rings. Try the cashew nut beef in the sweet chilli jam sauce its amazing and the Panang curry can give you a good chilli blast. The outside seating is refreshing and if you are not dining in take away is available. Best to ring the order through as they can get pretty busy.
Being locals, we frequent Puntip quite often. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the food superb always.We love the coconut prawn entre and the BBQ dishes are always just right. Curries are as they should be.Pad Thai Mmmmm!It is a BYO with a $3.00 corkage!It has inside and outside tables and it is great sport to watch the world go by from here.Highly recommended.
Decided to visit this restaurant using a discount voucher offer.The food was surprisingly good & satisfied our Thai heat requests via the attentive waitress. The seating is mostly on the outside street area, but this aspect didnt worry us.Give this Thai place a try, you will be surprised at the quality & value.Corkage at $1.50 per person is also a bonus.
We were a party of 6 and no booking so went early about 5.30pm. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and found a table for us by putting single tables together. Most tables and seating are on the pavement. We were served very quickly and the food was delicious. I would go again as the prices are very reasonable.

My colleague is vegan. So thought we we'd go Thai and have a Pad Thai. Very tasty plus he ordered a free vegetarian curry. I had a taste not being a vegetarian. Found it to be delicious. I had the BBQ pork and Thai fish cake.. Also yummy. Finished off with a few beers. Nice atmosphere. Enjoyable evening.
Five of us wandered in on a Thursday night with no booking. Ordered Larb, Garlic Pepper chicken, Spicy Beef, Beef and peanut sauce and green chicken curry with steamed rice all around. all were very tasty, very fresh vegs, good portion sizes. BYO $1.50 pp. all up around $121 for 5 people. good value.
I hadn't had Thai for awhile and absolutely loved it here! The food came out in a timely manner & was in great portions. Wait staff were lovely and informative and had a good night. BYO and they kept the water coming without asking. Food was fresh & delish. Definitely coming back.
Had a family members bday dinner here tonight, staff were obviously new and a little miscommunication/delay on some orders; but still lovely and all in all a good night.. also,I feel I must add that the black haired waitress was especially very helpful. :)Cheer's.Kob kun krub.

Had dinner here with the family and was very impressed. The thai food not too spicy aussie hot unless you ask for hot. Not the other way around. Friendly staff very helpful, Great place
Found a wonderful spot to eat Thai in burleigh heads. Fantastically authentic flavours beautifully presented served by friendly staff. Definitely returning next time I'm on the Coast
