Thai Spice Lees Summit

Ordered egg rolls. 3 for $6.95. They were all breading, I can’t even say what the filling was. Side of dumplings. Uber small, overcooked, no discernible flavor, no taste or texture, about 2 bites per dumpling. Entree was Phad Thai. Not sure what type of noodles they were. They had all been chopped up into little overcooked, gummy bits. I believe there might have been chicken in the dish, but not sure of there being any vegetables or texture. Noodles were definitely overcooked, and whatever the spices used were not discernible. When I eat a noodle or any pasta, I want it Al dente, and I want to be able to twirl it like with Ramen, not chopped up like baby food. I spent $50 and quite honestly, I’ve had better Chinese food served at Hyvee where you get an entree, egg roll, fried rice and soup for under $10. I won’t go back, extremely disappointed. Take out so can’t speak to the service.

Unlike the reviews including but not limited to Ron N. you stink. My girlfriend and I have enjoyed many Friday nights at the robust, diverse, and welcoming atmosphere of Thai Spice. Unlike Robs review, we have enjoyed the Curry on multiple occasions, thus we are familiar with the quality of the food which is exemplary. We hope that this review shines light on the incredible, food, service, and experience!!!

This was my first time to eat at the Thai Spice in Lee's Summit, and I was so excited to finally have something really delicious, authentic Thai food! So many places just don't get it right, and after living and traveling in Thailand, this place was a real treat. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the prices were just right. I recommend Thai Spice!

The room is cozy and clean and the service is very attentive. I gave only 3 stars because 3 of our dishes were good and 2 of them were not super tasteful / had cold portions of food. This is just one of those places where you need to know what to order. Skip the pad Thai here, but the best dish I tried was the green curry!

I have enjoyed this place a dozen times, but last night the pad Thai was terrible. The red curry was still great, but maybe something went wrong with it.
