We had a lovely evening at the Thai Vibe. The atmosphere was great, only three tables soft lighting and very pleasant gentle background music. We have eaten Thai many times before but the food here was exceptional. William who I believe is the owner guided us through our choices. My husband had a starter, I cannot remember the name but it was small sausages with a small spicy salad washed down with a broth. For mains he had the pork tenderloin macadam curry. I had small dumplings stuffed with vegetables and a soy dip with a touch of wasabi. For main I had a sizzling beef stir fry. We were made to feel quite special and would certainly love to return if we are in Alnwick again.
Before heading to Alnwick, we checked out some reviews of a restaurant that sounded fantastic. Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently only offering takeout, so we did not dine in. However, the food was truly outstanding. I have never tasted Thai cuisine that was so fresh before. It was my 50th birthday, and this meal honestly made my day. We ordered takeout and it was a memorable meal that we will never forget. To anyone living in or near Alnwick, if you are looking for fresh, exceptionally authentic Thai food that is bursting with flavor and will have you saying "nom..nom..nom" out loud with every bite, then this is the place for you.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would , this restaurant never fails to deliver the best Thai food outside of Thailand , this is our favourite food and we have eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants , this is the best one , flavours very authentic , cooked and presented perfectly , at the moment mainly only doing takeaway but the owner allowed us to dine in for a birthday meal , only limited availability currently , the food was excellent , Tom yum is the best you will taste , pad Thai and sizzling beef was full of flavour , thank you again for a wonderful night , look forward to our next visit
We dined here on Wednesday evening. Starter was the seafood sharing platter which we both really enjoyed. This was followed by the King Prawn Pad Thai and a sizzling beef dish. Both delicious. Finished by sharing the banana desert. Great food and friendly service. Lived up to expectations. The restaurant only takes cash, but the owner lets you know that clearly when you book so no dramas there. Definitely a place to visit if your in the Alnwick area.
With the temporary closure of the restaurant, we were so pleased that William is continuing with takeaway service. We ordered at meal for 6pm and it was ready precisely at that time. Starters and main course were at the usual 5 star quality and quantity at an incredible reasonable price. Urge any visitors to Alnwick to order via Facebook Messenger a wonderful Thai Asian authentic meal.
Lovely meal with the most authentic Thai food we have had in the UK. Having been to Thailand we really wanted food that would “take us back there” and this restaurant did not disappoint. While the menu was small the food was done to perfection. The waiter (who I am resume was the owner) was very knowledgable and attentive. I only wish we lived closer!!
