Thailando - Reservar una mesa

Devo dire che la qualità del cibo è davvero ottima e molto coerente con quella originale. Essendo tornata da pochi mesi da un viaggio in oriente ho riassaporato con molto piacere i cibi speziati, le salsine piccanti, le verdure croccanti. Ottimo l'antipasto misto. Molto buoni anche gli altri piatti, la scelta è molteplice, il menù non così chiaro. Ci sono un pó di anacronismi come il personale vestito col tipico abito engadinese e lo strudel (strepiyoso) del dessert.....ma questa strana commistione merita un assaggio. Locale purtroppo un po rumoroso, luci anche troppo soffuse.

We had dinner twice in Thailando this week. First visit was close to 5 star ... second one closer to 3 ... so overall 4 rating. Food was very good both times. But service quality really depended on the waiter / waitress. Main barrier is language (something we surprisingly noticed in a couple of places around St. Moritz???). But also level of checking up on table is very variable. Net ... we had very good food both times ... but service let us down the second time.

We had drinks in the bar area the night before and loved watching people go in and out of both the Hotel Albana's two restaurants. Was hard to decide which one to try as the Thai restaurant looked great as well as this beautiful Swiss eatery. Our group of five had a perfect table in a sun room area with two amazing servers. We all had schnitzel and it was spectacular with the perfect amount of seasoning and butter. Still dreaming of it as it was that good.

We had the chance to try both, the Thailando and the Spunta. Exquisite cuisine on both sides. Attentive and friendly staff throughout. If you're looking for easy to digest food, be careful with the Bündner specialities, although they are delicious. However, you might want to have a digestive drink at the hotel's KaminoBar before going to bed, and everything will turn out magnificently.

Thailando serves delicious Thai food in a great variety. Ambiance is Swiss, so don't expect a Thai setting. You can also eat Swiss dishes if you prefer. Service was mediocre at best. Overall a good exoerience as it is fairly priced. Recommendable.
