A friend recommended this place to us. We have been in search of a good thai place in Bournemouth. Upon entering we were welcomed by the good ambience of a small fish pond and a nice server. We put in our orders which is a green papaya salad and spring rolls. The spring rolls was okay, but the papaya salad was amazing. It had that heat that I’ve been looking for in asian dishes. My husband who is not fond of fish sauce slurped the sauce of it. And then I ordered Pad Thai for mains and he ordered the drunken noodles. First bite and we were mind blown. It was amazing!!! We were visiting from London and this was my Mum’s recommendation (who lives locally). We had mixed starters for two, king prawns in red curry sauce, green curry chicken, paneng chicken, morning glory (pak boung) by special request, egg fried rice. I can’t overstate how delicious this was and we used to live in Thailand and Cambodia so we have experience to draw on. And the service was delightful, humble, polite and not over bearing at all. A Hank you to everyone who served or cooked for us at Thai Smile last night. We will be back next time we are in Bournemouth.
I adore this place. The most authentic and delicious Thai food I've had outside of Thailand, and at a really reasonable price. Always friendly service too. My favourite local place to eat in or takeaway for sure!! Thank you everyone at Thai smile x
Outstanding Thai food. I've travelled to Thailand many times so I can honestly say this restaurant was first class and truly on par with the best you can find

I was served by the very kind and smiling receptionist lady, also got mint chocolate for no extra charge. Cheap and cheerful. Definitely recommendable.
